How to set up intelligent-terminal, step by step
Open PowerShell — press Win, type PowerShell, and press Enter — then paste the command and press Enter.
Run intelligent-terminal --help to see the available commands, and
intelligent-terminal --version to confirm the install worked. If your shell complains about
permissions, that project usually documents a corrected command on its own site.
This asks the Windows Package Manager to fetch and install intelligent-terminal and its dependencies. Windows handles the download, the signature check and the install location.
What intelligent-terminal does
- Your prompts (what you type in the agent pane or command palette)
- Shell output context (recent command output shared with the agent for context)

- A ZIP file containing your error logs will be generated and opened in File Explorer
